I hold two degrees in, oddly enough, ceramics. Embroidery and quilting are a natural fit with clay because of their shared and repeated dialogue. “Is it craft or is it art? My answer is: absolutely.”
I am very fortunate to be a professional quilter and artist, and have won awards for my portraits and currently enjoy exhibiting nationally, both in art arenas and quilting shows simultaneously.
I live and keep a studio in downtown St. Louis with my pug, Ethel, my black lab, Millie and my husband, photographer Bill Elliott.
