Frank Lloyd Wright was the father of Modern American Architecture. To speak of building and NOT to mention his name is absurd and down right impossible. Wright’s clean lines and marriage with nature are greatly influenced by Japanese art and culture. Subtly found in the portrait twice is a red square. This is how FLW signed his name. The square of red symbolizes strength and completion. Wright was also known to find funds for his projects even when the wells went dry. Here…he is getting blood from a turnip.
